Despite low expectations 2024 started out as solid year, especially for RPG fans. Just halfway through the year, we've had the new Prince of Persia, Like A Dragon 8, Tekken 8, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Helldivers 2, Dragon's Dogma 2, Stellar Blade, Hades 2, Crown Country, Animal Well, among others.

I have created this thread to keep track of all upcoming notable releases of 2024. I'll keep it updated as new releases are announced.

Definitely SMT 5, I sold my Switch long ago and dint even play this because of the horrible performance quality, will be picking up Vengeance for my PS5
 
I might get mobbed and robbed for saying this but AC Shadows.
Despite all the backlash its getting and how u shouldn't expect too much from Ubisoft
I have an itch for Feudal Japan settings, bring me more games with settings like like Ghost of Tsushima, Sekiro
 
I don't know if the new star wars game will dethrone star wars jedi: fallen order for me, that game is something else
 
Man the Silent Hill 2 remake makes me so nervous. I am big fan of the orignal . I dont want to see its legacy tarnished
 
Shadow of the Erd Tree.

that game has me hyped espcially after hearing many critics claim that it manages to recapture the magic of the base game .

I simply cant wait for Legend of the heroes.

everything revealed about it just makes me so excited for the full release.

black myth Wu Kong looks badass. The gamepay and animations truly feel next-gen this time around compared to demon souls remake.

They are definetly setting a new bar with this

The trailers and demo for Wukong look amazing, but I'm cautious. I'm worried they might be heavily curated and not reflect the actual game.

I'm also concerned that the game's performance could be disappointing. Additionally, the story and level design, which are crucial for keeping a souls-like game engaging, might fall short.

Im confident about the story and mob design since the game is inspired by Journey to the West, which offers a lot of creative material. However, I do have some doubts about the level design because most of the trailers and demos have focused on boss fights, which look great, but I’m concerned about what the rest of the game is like.

I noticed there are quests and optional side bosses that provide spells and transformations, which is encouraging. I just hope the game doesn’t end up feeling shallow.

I’m hopeful that the impressive gameplay shown in the trailers and demo will carry through the entire game. It looks so promising that even if the story or overall design turns out to be a bit one-dimensional, the gameplay might still make it a worthwhile experience.
 
About Silent Hill 2...

The more I rewatch it the more I find myself excited for it. After rewatching it a couple times I can tell it's going to be very faithful to the original through some of the scenes and puzzles I saw in the trailer which gives me a lot of hope and optimism for this remake. However there are a few issues that I hope will be polished up before launch such as the animations and the weapon sound effects but these issues don't diminish my excitement for the game.
