I hope it does. Both myself and my brother are excited at playing 24 player Mario Kart.

sounds chaotic. 8 players I thought was a lot back on DS, then on Wii 12 felt more fun. Then 7 going back to 8 made me feel Wii was superior, then 12 got back to it.

I think most traditional racing games do a max of 12 players, so doing 24 can make the game standout a lot.
