Developer GSC Game World posted a message to the game’s Steam page explaining that the first update will arrive “during the week to come” on both PC and Xbox.

These include “issues and memory allocation failures, which previously caused the game to exit unexpectedly”, as well as fixes to “several bugs blocking the main quest progression, NPCs getting stuck in objects, incorrect quest markers, and issues with quest cutscenes”.

I don’t understand why they can’t just change the dead zone value. I would think that would be an extremely simple fix but I could be wrong. I’m very ignorant when it comes to this stuff lol

A lot of stalker players who spent years playing GAMMA are disappointed this game isnt GAMMA 2.

They really dont remember or have gaslit others into thinking Shadow of Chernobyl was a kind of game it wasnt.

A-Life doesn’t exist and the devs are essentially doing the whole “oh no it definitely is a real thing even though there is no evidence in the game itself, it’s simply a bug we’re gonna fix”

Basically, they’re either going to start working now on the system or more likely they’re gonna try to ride this out and hope the criticism doesn’t get too loud. People should be outraged not because the system doesn’t exist, but because they lied about it.

That's all they're addressing? There's SOOOOO many more broken things in this god damn game. We need laws that sue devs and publishers into poverty for releasing a game broken, unfinished or worse! Any other products sold released in the state games do, they'd be out of business long ago. Worst part is gamers are OK with this shit. I guarantee majority of you think the game is fine or just needs a patch or two.
