Official Replaced Delayed To 2025

I feel like I’m writing this opening on a daily basis. The 2025 release window for games is quickly filling up as games continue to drop from 2024 with indie game Replaced the latest to do so.

Today developer Sad Cat Studios has announced that Replaced, 2.5D sci-fi retro-futuristic action platformer where you play as R.E.A.C.H. – an artificial intelligence trapped in a human body against its own will, has been delayed to 2025.

Replaced, which is currently an Xbox console exclusive (day 1 on Xbox Game Pass) that’s also releasing on Steam, Epic and GOG has seen a multitude of delays because of the ongoing war in Ukraine. Taking to X on the official Replaced account they posted the following image.

A damn shame man, this game's been getting delayed back and forth, I'm still hopeful they ll cook no matter what because it looks so good from the first teaser years ago
 
It was postponed from 2022 to 2023, then pushed to 2024.

And now, it's been delayed again until 2025...bruh moment
 
Well atleast the devs are committed to their work and since its an indie, I ll respect it and they should as long as they need to perfect their product
At least it isn't like crunch culture where they need to push it out and shove into their playerbase to please their shareholders or higherups
