In an email shared on forum Ruliweb, reporter Seo Jeong-geun told a reader that the cancelled Project H mentioned in his article had “nothing to do with Horizon”.

This is where the story gets pretty confusing. NCSOFT job resumes have referenced a game called Project Skyline which shares the same font as Horizon’s logo. This was previously known as Project H.

It appears, however, that the Project H which has been cancelled is not Project Skyline, meaning the rumoured Horizon MMO may still be alive.

I swear, Horizon to me always feels weird as a franchise. The games are fine and it has obviously sold well, but it's a top selling game with the least amount of impact in the gaming world (at least that's just my perspective).

I think we've seen enough Horizon for a while, and we've definitely seen enough attempts at Sony live service games. I take this as good news.

How do these companies see the monumental success of single player games like the Horizon Zero Dawn/Forbidden West, Ghost of Tsushima, God Of War/Ragnarok, Death Stranding, Cyberpunk, Spider Man, etc and think “maybe a multiplayer element would be a good choice”
