Games You Dropped Due To post Release Changes?

Marvel Snap. I dropped it in October after playing since launch. Even as a whale in that game, I felt like the monetization was screwing me over. It's also basically impossible for new players to get into the game, even if they're willing to spend money. There's basically no way to build towards a specific competitive deck and that's the whole point of the game.

Marvel Snap. It was fun getting cards and building decks. The meta ended up shifting so massively from season to season, patch to patch, that you HAD to buy all the lastest cards to keep up, and then it would be worthless. A few cards I paid money for via a season pass got nerfed to the ground.

Overwatch 1 after Role Queue and major hero changes.

The game stopped being fun and turned in to some "made for eSports" turd to pander to the OWL crowd.

Overwatch, it's changed so much and I'm displeased it got taken offline for OW2. Change is not always good. Overturned characters and gameplay made for higher end meta play, made the game trash for everyone else trying to have fun.

I think 7 Days to Die is now post release? I can't quite place exactly what I expected versus what I got, but changing how water scavenging worked was the final straw for me.

phasmophobia :(

i loooved the early access and learned all the ghosts and maps and then they kept changing things and now its a completely different game with so many new additions that it feels suffocating.

Not exactly dropped. But I was fully intending to purchase Black Ops 6 and then they did an update where all the weird characters and skins became available in multiplayer so I just left it.
