[Discussion Thread] Amazon's The Boys Season 4

Having been enjoying it so far even if doesnt have the same charm it had in Season 1>

and man I miss Jenson Ackles. Nothing could ever fill the void Solider Boy left
 
I think they should tone down the sex and gross stuff. Its getting repetitive.

Also the shock value. It sucks
 
Eric's remarks that he doesnt know when it will end was a big turn off.

I am glad they all collectively decided to end on Season 5
 
I like Sage’s character. She reminds me of Edgar in how she talks to Homelander, and it has me on edge because nobody has talked to him like that for a while.
 
Nancy Lenehan's performance as Barbara was absolutely phenomenal. Her acting, along with the direction and writing, was so powerful that a live flashback to Homelander’s birth wasn’t necessary. The way she described it, with such a casual demeanor, made the scene even more vivid and terrifying than I could have ever imagined.
 
If Antony Starr never wins an Emmy, it’ll be the biggest entertainment disgrace since Jason Alexander didn’t win an Emmy for George Costanza.

Kripke wasn’t exaggerating when he praised Starr’s performance in this episode.
