This movie could have reached top-tier greatness with just a bit more tightness and restraint. Giving Wolverine's backstory a little more depth, trimming the constant shifts from location to location and fight to fight in the Void, and allowing more time for the returning Fox and Marvel characters, as well as Cassandra, to establish the stakes and connect with the audience would have made a big difference.
