Discussion Deadlock Already Suffering From Cheaters In Closed Alpha

Cheaters are everywhere these days. They all use wallhacks and aimbots, but they're so terrible and obvious about it.

I'm hoping Valve takes this time to address the most obvious hacks and develops ways to combat them before Deadlock enters a full-scale public beta.
That said, I suspect that most cheating will be managed through reports and account bans, as even Dota relies more on that than on actual anti-cheat software.

It's a Valve game, so this was kind of inevitable... just look at Counter-Strike. You'd think with all the money they make from Steam, they'd invest more into improving VAC

I'm actually curious if Deadlock uses client-side hit detection. I've noticed an unusually high number of times where I've been hit through walls, whether by abilities or gunfire. Hopefully, that's not the case.
