Regardless of the game's actual quality, I think the conversation and controversy surrounding it has doomed it. This is not a Morbius situation where you should re-release a failed product.

Even in the open beta the game had difficulty getting 3000 players at the same time, idk if going free to play can salvage this game without reworking the entire game
