Video Games That You Regret Purchasing

I know everyone has that one game that you buy either due to excitement, fear of missing out, a suggestion or whatever reason but end up regreting the money that you spent on it

MW3 (the new one). I tried it out via a rental because I heard good things about the multiplayer, but I hated it. The multiplayer felt recycled, the campaign was shite, and even the zombies mode was a boring grind fest.

RDR2.
I played the prologue and about 10 hours of doing random exploration and a couple missions.
I really enjoyed my play through of GTA 5 and I guess I had expectations of something extremely similar, RDR2’s controls were too clunky for me and just the overall pace of the game feels like you need to sit down and play for 2 hours at a time

Final Fantasy XIII is the one game that still sticks with me when I think about games I didn't enjoy despite paying for them.

Too Human (2008)

The idea of a technological twist on Norse mythology? Sign me up!

However, the gameplay was odd, and that death animation repeated endlessly. It had so much potential but fell short.

Fallout 76
My best friend talked me into it, even though I had a feeling it would be terrible at launch. Back then, Xbox only allowed one refund per year (maybe they still do), so I was stuck with it. Within an hour of playing, I knew it was a disaster. Now, every time I hover over the "purchase" button, I think of that game.

Borderlands 3

I loved the previous Borderlands games, but man, that game just sucks. The gameplay is fun, but everything else is terrible.

Ninja Blade. Shoulve stayed away from that. picked caz it looked like a cool slasher and wanted to try out older fromsoftware games but damn

Monster Hunter World. I feel disappointed in myself for not liking this game. I can see that it's great, and I've loved similar games before. Plus, two of my closest friends play it regularly. I guess sometimes, despite the quality, a game just isn't for you.
