General Posting Guidelines:

  1. Stay On-Topic: Posts should be relevant to gaming discussions. Off-topic threads may be moved or deleted.
  2. Constructive Contributions: Aim to add value to discussions. Low-effort posts (e.g., one-word replies, memes without context) may be removed.
  3. No Duplicate Threads: Before posting, search to see if a similar thread already exists. Duplicate threads may be merged or removed.
  4. Clear Titles: Use descriptive and clear titles for your threads to help others understand the topic at a glance.

Respectful Interaction:

  1. No Harassment or Abuse: Treat all members with respect. Personal attacks, harassment, hate speech, or discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.
  2. Disagree Politely: It’s okay to disagree, but do so respectfully. Attack ideas, not people.
  3. Avoid Flame Wars: If a discussion becomes heated, refrain from escalating it. Moderators may step in to diffuse situations.

Content Sharing:

  1. No Spoilers Without Warnings: If your post contains spoilers, include a clear warning at the beginning and use spoiler tags where appropriate. Use the Spoiler Option from the "3 dots - More Options" above.
  2. Original Content Encouraged: Share your thoughts, experiences, and opinions. If you’re posting content from elsewhere, give proper credit and link back to the original source.
  3. No Advertising or Self-Promotion: Unsolicited promotion of your content, products, or services is not allowed unless it contributes meaningfully to the discussion and is within the context of the conversation.

Community Engagement:

  1. Encourage Discussion: Ask questions, share insights, and engage with others’ posts. This is a place for meaningful conversations about gaming.
  2. No Spamming: Refrain from posting multiple threads or comments in a short period, especially if they don’t contribute to the discussion.
  3. Respect Different Opinions: Gaming is diverse, and people have different tastes and opinions. Respect others’ preferences even if they differ from yours.

Moderation and Reporting:

  1. Report Issues: If you see a post or comment that violates these rules, report it to the moderators for review.
  2. Moderator Discretion: Moderators have the final say in enforcing rules and may edit, move, or remove content as necessary to maintain a positive environment.

Formatting and Presentation:

  1. Use Proper Formatting: Make your posts easy to read with proper paragraphs, headings, and bullet points where needed. Avoid walls of text.
  2. Multimedia Use: If including images, videos, or GIFs, ensure they are relevant to the discussion and not excessive in number or size.
