Rumor Playstation 6 Currently Has Two SoC's In Development

A reputable leaker has claimed that the PlayStation 6 currently has 2 SoCs (System-on-a-Chip) in development.

That’s according to KeplerL2, who made the comment on the NEOgaf forums following discussions about the PlayStation 6’s price. Kepler, who has a fairly strong track record when it comes to reporting on hardware chips, says the PS6 currently has two SoCs in development, but it’s unclear what exactly this means for the console.

Kepler said, “There’s two SoCs in development for next-gen, idk if it’s a Series X/S situation or home console + handheld, but probably one of them will be affordable at least.”

Bet one of them is the portable version. Ally X (and somewhat SD) has shown us that we can have AAA gaming experience with great battery life even with a Windows OS so a dedicated next generation PS/Xbox handheld should be very interesting.
