Official Overwatch 2 Has Landed On Gamepass With Exclusive Benefits

Overwatch 2 is making its way to Xbox Game Pass today, 17th September, bringing some exclusive benefits with it.

These include six hero skins (Cardboard Reinhardt, Turtleship DVa, Cyberdragon Hanzo, Street Runner Genji, Bee Mercy, and Cleric Lifeweaver), 30 Mythic Prisms, an additional 10 percent XP boost and access to select Overwatch 2 Shop cosmetics from the free-to-play game's past three seasons.

Game Pass users will need to link their Battle.net account to an active Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Xbox Game Pass for Console, or PC Game Pass account by 11th November to get their hands on these perks.

So basically, if a free game is on Game Pass, you can now play it via the cloud on other devices too.

For Game Pass users, there's really no need to buy cosmetics in OW2. A lot of them are given away through ultimate perks or new Game Pass benefits. Imagine spending money on a cardboard Rein only to get it for free later.

Just a heads-up: if you’re thinking about making a new Xbox account for a Game Pass free trial, keep in mind that Blizzard has a one-year cooldown before you can switch which account is connected.
