A Mortal Kombat remaster is reportedly already in the works. The tidbit was originally teased by the Eyeballistic CEO, Joe Tresca, on Twitter late last month via an alleged AI-generated screenshot, claiming that the studio is “cooking up something special.” He’s made another tweet yesterday since then, sharing a similar image. While the teases excited many of us, others were turned off by the AI images, which he neither accepted nor denied.

Personally, I do t know what they will achieve with the remake, lol. They just released a new entry with an alternate timeline. Why not continue that?

The roster in OG Mortal Combat is present in all new games.

If its a remaster or a port that woulkd make more sense.

I should've uploaded an old SS. Why use AI?

This is gonna make headlines and will not good for the inevitable remaster even if they back peddle and clarify the AI claims
