Given that this branding is new and doesn’t appear to be a fake at all, an announcement is likely imminent.

Having recently played it for the first time, I really hope it turns out to be a genuine remake. The combat felt quite basic, as you pointed out, but my main issue was with the environments. They all seemed too similar, which made navigation difficult and left me feeling lost. I ended up quitting after a few hours because I just couldn’t stay engaged.

While I’m aware that the Soul Reaver games are more popular, I really wish Blood Omen would get a remaster too. I love that game, but the load times make it nearly unplayable for me.
