A former CIG employee took to social media to share what was going on (spotted by Insider Gaming), saying the company “is letting a lot of staff go over the last two days with zero compensation right after working them to the bone without even much as a thanks.”
Until CIG releases a “formal announcement” sometime later, it’s not known yet how many employees are affected by this round of layoffs that started a few days ago. According to Insider Gaming’s sources, an estimated dozen people have lost their jobs so far, and many of them were from the QA department.
It’s not the first time the developer has let go of staff this year. Back in February, there were “minor staffing changes,” according to the company.
