The Japanese government, represented by Satoshi Hamada, has raised serious concerns about the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Shadows, pointing out changes and inaccuracies in how Japanese history is depicted.

I saw a moment in that trailer for Shadows where summer rice planted during cherry blossoms blooming....
If thaT DOESNT tell you how bad Ubisoft is for Japanese representation then good luck liking this game for its cultural accuracy

To add here, theres even a merchant selling Persimmons which are usually available in the Fall season, yeah no freaking wonder they raised serious concerns here lmao

Funny how the duality is here, Sucker Punch Prod did their homework extensively by visiting Tsushima Island, even helped raising funds for its inhabitants etc, they nailed the representation for it with adding their twist with the Mongol invasion, and comparing THAT to this from Ubisoft, what a joke

Not trying to be a Sony fanboy here but Ubisoft isn't known for any better in this age either to make them praise worthy

What is ubisoft doing here and also
"suspects that generative AI was used inaccurately to create images that fit the historical period."
This ai is ruining everything.
