The Update is said to bring new enemies, objectives, and difficulty levels among other additions..

It will also address grief kicking by spawning the player directly in a new session with the loot from previous session.

This looks like a reasonable update and I like the name 'Escalation of Freedom'.

Outside of the whole PlayStation drama I definitely felt Helldivers 2 was lacking in terms of content, especially after a few months of release.
It felt need something like this to carry its player base. If they keep this momentum forward this will become the next Destiny or definitely has the potential for one
