Helldivers 2 crashing [PC]

Hello, im trying to check out the new escalation of freedom update in Helldivers 2 on Steam but whenever I try to lig into the game, the game just randomly crashes at the intro and boots me back to my desktop/steam
Are there any fixes that can help me, if anyone knows please help
 
This is a little something I did to help with performance issues, its worth a shot if you tried the simple stuff like reverting your GPU drivers or disabling any background applications

> Windows+R
>Type "%appdata%" (remove the quotes)
>Roaming > Arrowhead > Helldivers 2

Delete the shader cache


>Right-click Helldivers 2 in your Steam game library
>Properties
>Add the launch option, "--use-d3d11" (remove the quotes)


Disable the in-game FPS limiter and limit it externally using NVIDIA control panel

Disabling both the Anti-Aliasing and Screen-Space Global Illumination as well as setting all graphic settings to low may help you, now I know you ll need to log into the game to do this stuff but also try to launch the game with administrator, that might help you load in too
 
Its most likely the Gameguard being interfered
Make sure its excluded if ur Windows antivirus or whatever software u have accidentally marks it as a threat

The 2nd thing u can also do is delete the GameGuard folder in the game's directory, so it's recreated on the next startup of the game
 
I found a possible solution, a buddy of mine tested it for a couple of hours, and experienced no crashes so far since he had the same issue as you

Limit the framerate to 60 (90 also seemed to work).

You should be able to do it through your GPU-s driver application. For Nvidia cards: Nvidia Control Panel -> Manage 3D settings -> Program Settings tab -> HellDivers 2 -> Max Frame Rate -> set to On and 60. This way, you are forcing 60 max fps on a driver level for this game only.
 
Well since its a similar problem to the one where I saw people complaining that the game kept crashing on the select language screen

Go into this directory: %AppData%\Arrowhead\Helldivers2/

> user_settings file
> open in a text editor and scroll to the bottom

Update
initial_setup_completed = false

to
initial_setup_completed = true

This bypasses the language selection
 
Well you can go in Nvidia control panel under surround and PhysX set PhysX processor to the GPU
This should minimize chances of crashing

Also I'm pretty sure you ve seen the limit fps to 90 or 60 thing and can confirm that works to some extent
You should also unplug any USB flash storage devices you have since the anti cheat kinda checks that too on launch from what I ve heard
