Games where you spent alot of hours but never finished?

Skyrim and Witcher 3 for me. And after each break I was so confused by all the quests that I started from the begining. With Witcher 3, because of the connected story I started from the 1st one. Idk why I stopped playing Witcher, I think my laptop broke and then I just didnt get back to it. In skyrim everytime I play it, since I a invested in the story (game writer myself) I get si overwhelm that I dont want to play anymore. The same thing with Fallout 3 and 4.

Elden Ring. Ive played it for a long time but i haven’t beat it yet. Im more than halfway through I’m sure but i get fatigued from the souls games. I just stopped playing one day and still haven’t returned.

Yakuza games I get distracted by the side story mini games or never do the gambling stuff (it's in every game plus idk how to play majong)

Too many.

I made a collection on Steam to put my unfinished games in, and it got overwhelming lol I gave up putting them in there cause what was the point.

Hogwarts Legacy. I put a fair amount of time in and realised it was going to take a lot longer to finish and I just wasn't prepared to see it through with a dwindling interest

Lots of them. The most recent: Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow. I stopped playing on the very final boss of the true ending with almost the 100% map completed. Couldn’t stand thar final fight.
