Games that didnt get the attention it deserved because of the players [Discussion]

Kingdom Come Deliverance is one of the best / most realistic RPG game I have played and its filled with amazing and fun content

Combat system can be challenging sometimes but it's very easy once you learn the basics and train you will get better and it becomes very satisfying and fun

Only 10% of people who bought it on playstation actually completed it which is very sad that people didn't even try to give it a chance.
I can also say that to death stranding even though I haven't played the game yet I can feel that most of the negative discussions about it and hate is from people who didnt even play the game.
 
Path of Exile has this image problem that it's only for ascended beings who can understand Rick and Morty.
It's far more accessible than this perception, though admittedly, it does have a steep learning curve.

Which is a shame because it has IMO the best content of any game in the market today

I still remmeber it like yesterday when I copped it for 20 bucks on sale and man what a fun game
the game takes a while to open because ur so limited to weapons and stuff but once u get to taking down the hordes and unlock more weapons and tools, the most underrated games ever that I can shut my brain off and enjoy

These games man, especiall dmc devil may cry and Far Cry 4 got way too much slander at least to me but they deserved more recognition

I think out of GTA 3 GTA SA and Vice City

3 is the most underrated one that deserves more attention from the fanbase for being the first 3d GTA

At first, I thought it was a strange game.

Complicated and boring combat.

not to mention boring pace

However, after the quest that you have to search for a bottle of wine in a cellar while drunk, I started to see all the qualities of the game. It provides a very good freedom to explore. And the quests are becoming more and more intriguing.
 
Another underrated game is Prey 2017 which I think didn't get too much attention because of the niche playerbase it had and how fundamentally different this game was in gameplay design and tools
 
Hunt: Showdown is probably the most fun I've had in a multiplayer game in years. Playerbase is small so most players are experienced and understand how to play the game.

The gameplay loop is punishing and gameplay itself is difficult and the game itself doesn't really have a proper tutorial to teach you how to play the game. More people need to give this game a shot but i highly recommend to play it in duos with a friend because MY GOD this game needs more attention
 
Death Stranding was a phenomenal game which got marred by players who instantly got turned off by the walking sim gameplay and I ll even go on a limb and say

Death stranding is the quintessential “All cutscenes 4K hd VIDEO GAME MOVIE” game :LOL:
 
TemTem was murdered by a frothing bitch mob trying to make it the "Pokemon killer" because something something sword shield stinky and I'll never forgive that :cautious:
 
If u ask me in my experience I think Dragon's dogma's a game that has been way underrated by everyone, even the friends I know who played it!

It is a great rpg with great customization options and some of the best boss fights and a very in-depth leveling system
 
I know its the weakest out of all the REMEDY games but Quantum Break holds a special place in my heart, one of my favorite sci fi stories and I didn't mind the TV show insertation either, I thought it was creative for its time
Tho yea the streaming thing for it sucks ass

I think this game didn't deserve THAT much hate from the players
 
Guardians of the Galaxy from Eidos Montreal instantly comes to my mind
People assumed the worst of this game JUST BECAUSE IT HAD THE SAME gameplay engine and combat style as that dosghit Avenegers title when in fact it was more teamplay focused and actually fun to play since you had Starlord giving commands to his team

Plus the writing and banter was top notch!! A worthy game that deserved more labor of love
 
The Order 1886 deserves to be on here it was my first ever PS4 games and despite being hella rough, I still really liked it and wished that sequel they had planned came to fruition
The steampunk victorian setting was the icing on the cake
 
Immortals Fenix Rising. One of the most fun and wiity games I’ve played in the last 10 years
I saw people complain its a Disney Breath of the Wild knockoff and could not even care for their salty remarks, this game needs more attention, an actually fun game from Ubishit
 
Spec Ops: The Line
A war themed game which NEITHER Call of Duty or Battlefield will ever be
Phenomenal game with a harrowing message
 
Mafia definitive edition is the masterpiece remake that should be observed for making remakesThis game is a true remake masterpiece not just because of the story, the gameplay and the whole story itself will give you a movie like experience....

Critics didn't like days gone because the lead was a tough white guy and that one line where his wife asked him to ride him like his motorcycle was cringe but I didn't mind xddd
 
For me has to be Sunset Overdrive, fun mechanics and gameplay that still has people talking about it when they play it for the first time and I wish they made a sequel but ig that's never happening sigh

Game is more than a movie game and I'm glad the players liked it but I hated that MOST of the other playerbase disliked it and bashed it immediately for what it was on the surface
