either they have been cooking something (sony) or they just dont want to put in the required effort

Their financial analysis frame the complete opposite picture though. They are generating massive revenues from PC ports. Last I remember Horizon and Gow made like 50$+ dollars on the sales of around million units.

I am pretty sure a pc port and further optimizations dont take that much are likely a fraction of what the ultimate sales and profit are
