Fix for " You are not the Owner" message in Once Human?

I go to the repair bench and it gives me this message. Why? and how to fix you are not the owner error in Once Human?
 
The items that only you crafted can be repaired. Any items that are acquired from the overworld are disposable so no point in hoarding that.

That is why you cant repair the item and get this message
 
They are not your items, so you can repair them, it's exactly what the message says.

You are not the owner because you didn't craft them, you picked em up
