Have seen plenty of PlayStation peeps here or atelast people who ve owned a gaming console from Sony, what I wanna know is what is your favorite PlayStatio nfirst party title or franchise even.
Im taking a break rn from Destiny 2 and decided to play some of my backlogged exclusive titles on the PS5 like GOW Ragnarok and Stellar Blade, would love to know if I missed out on any game dating back to even the PS3 era
 
Stellar Blade is awesome, you're in for a treat I recently platinumed it and loved every second of it even when I did a full NG+ speedrun never felt dull for a second
The game truly invokes the 2000s style of action adventure titles

Really enjoyed Demons Souls, surprisingly still not on PC and while the art direction and atmosphere is better in the original on PS3, I much prefer this due to the new visuals and ofc, multiplayer
 
Gran Turismo 7 is pretty cool but if you're not into sim racing at all then you might not like it, I wasn't either but this game got me testing and learning about everything related to cars to perfect them on a track
 
Gravity Rush remastered and if u like it then Gravity Rush 2, I ll never forgive Sony shutting down Japan Studios and wasting the potential of this amazing series
One of the most charming games of all time, reeks of creativity

Shadow of the Colossus, criminally underrated, nobody will tell you about it because of how much it influenced games like Zelda and Elden ring, its a pillar in the industry

A damn shame that Sony does not acknowledge this game anymore and doesn't plan a release on PC
 
Well I would highly recommend FF7 Remake and Rebirth
get the bundle pack for both games, they re definitely the best for you since you're trying to take a break from D2
 
Ik its on PC now but Ghost of Tsushiima, I played it on launch on the PS4 and since eu like games like gow ragnarok, if u haven't played it yet, U have to now since it runs like butter on the PS5 with the Directors cut
 
Play the last of us Part 2 remastered, even if you don't like the story, that's subjective but the gameplay is easily the best things Naughty Dog has ever crafted
 
If u own PS Plus extra, u can get a lot of the exclusives that most peeps here mentioned, anyways play Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart
Bonus points if u played the 2016 one but even if u haven't u should be fine tbh
 
Going by series, then has to be Uncharted for me, its actually stupid that you PORT BOTH THE THE LATEST UNCHARTED AND A SPINOFF BEFORE THE ACTUAL ordered games

Like what the hell dude, how are people supposed to experience Nathan Drakes legacy that way??
Anyways play the Nathan Drake collection if u haven't
 
Bloodborne, its the reason why I got a PS5 this year and just to play that and the other exclusives I missed so I'm in the same boat as you, its the plastic machine that helps me play these kinda games
 
Welp I mean its heading to PC sooner or later since the ports in development but FF16
ur gonna need a beefy PC to run it anyways so why not just play it without headaches on PS5 without having to tinker settings and performance
One of the best Final Fantasies, don't listen to the haters
 
Definitely Final Fantasy 16, pretty much a modern God of War (the old GOW games) with how much brutal action it has and a revenge story.
Clive is incredibly badass and at the same time, a heartfelt protag

Bloodborne deserves a 60fps patch, shame what Sony did to Japan Studios, dudes even lost the source code so that 60fps patch is impossible to get unless u have a modded ps4
 
Concrete Genie is a wonderful game, basically an art drawing adventure title, short asf too and very charming
I think the studio shut down last I checked but man the game is just mesmerizing
