Dragon Age: The Veilguard is supposed to be the next game in the franchise after almost a decade. The game’s previews have garnered some positive attention, but it seems it failed to attract much traction on Steam just a month before the launch.

Why it matters: Given the game’s great reception, most would assume that its pre-order figures on Steam would be quite high with just a month until launch.

Full details:

The art style is terrible, and the characters look absurd.
It feels like it's been designed just to appeal to a modern audience, but hey atleast the combat impressed me on previews so I'm not all that of a hater here

No game should become a best seller before it's even released. Even games that seem like guaranteed hits, like Elden Ring, should be bought on day two—once real reviews are out.

Honestly, preordering is one of the worst ideas out there. It’s like asking for an unfinished, buggy mess right from the start.
