What has become the best gun for ripping through the hearts of bosses in Destiny 2 has, at last, received a significant nerf, knocking down its enormous damage numbers and possibly clearing the way for some new builds for dealing with some of the game's toughest adversaries, like The Witness. Bungie has cut the damage of Still Hunt, the sniper rifle that can become a Golden Gun--at least when utilized by Hunters running the Exotic helmet Celestial Nighthawk.

This nerf originally announced was that it would be around 25% but they did 33% and that is a big change, saw this on their subreddit

I think this is a reasonable nerf as players were solo-ing The Witness with this and I'm sure the devs did not like that happening

People can still use dem new artifact mods for the sniper to deal compensating damage for the nerf and Hunters are already the most broken class in the game atm
they ll be fine lol
