Players can now buy, download, and play Death Stranding Director’s Cut on Xbox Series X|S through the Microsoft Store at a special launch sale price of $19.99, discounted from the original price of $39.99.

Kojima Productions shared today in a press release that the studio, led by Kojima himself, now fully owns the rights to the Death Stranding IP.

Whoa, this is awesome. DS is seriously the best game I have ever played on my PS5. I have like 200+ hours into it. It's such an amazing game to just vibe out and play.

Damn, guess I'm buying yet another copy (and a half).

It'll be the third PC platform I own it on (own it via EGS and Steam), plus the third general platform I own it on. Not to mention PS4+5 (since I bought the upgrade).
