Earlier today, Sony announced that hero shooter Concord — which hasn’t been out for two weeks — is being yanked on digital storefronts with players who purchased the game getting refunds. With the chance of the game being completely unplayable in a few days’ time, some players are logging in and killing themselves in-game for a PlayStation trophy!

Concord has trophies tied to reaching certain levels in the game, and you need to get those in order to get the Platinum. There are three level-related trophies in the game, and they are “Freegunner Frequency” for reaching Reputation Level 10, “Name Recognition” for reaching 50, and “Experienced Freegunner” for hitting level 100.

Currently, players are joining Concord’s Rivalry mode and just jumping off the stage’s levels in order to have the match finish as fast as possible, and in turn, players will get XP to level up. This is not a match, but more of a community round up to help each other get the trophies.

Many people criticized Redfall, but this is even worse.
Producing something like this is a waste of millions lol
Jim Ryan really made the most corporate-driven decisions possible with these shitty ass live service titles for PlayStation

Red Fall was a disaster due to Bethesda forcing a single player studio into live-service

Concord is just another title that was part of Jim Ryan’s long-term live-service plan. Jim’s live service ambitions have led to Sony overpaying for Bungie, numerous canceled projects, and a flop in Concord.

What better way to mark yourselves as the bigger clown than to waste time on a pathetic GaaS title
Like srsly, I gett that it ll be rare platinum down the line but dude this seems like the biggest waste of time rn
