According to Tom Waren, 'Avowed' is in good shape but gets delayed to early 2025 because Xbox last Q4 is pretty stacked with 'S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2' delay to November.

I dont know about Avowed but i am looking forward to Heart of Chornobyl. That game looks good in the trailer that is on steam.

Many games get delayed a few months for optimization, so I'm not worried. It's only an issue when delays become chronic.

Does anyone else feel like this game looks a bit "flat" in the previews? There's something about it that seems bland, kind of like The Outer Worlds. Plus, the cartoonish "pop irony" vibe is feeling pretty tired. Hopefully, the delay will help them refine the game into something unique and engaging.

I'm probably one of the few against this. Delaying the game not for polish or fixing issues, but out of fear of the competition? That doesn't sit right with me.

This year has been packed with RPGs, so I'm not too surprised by the delay. It seems like the game could use some extra polish anyway.

yeah but i will most probably wait for it to be released and see gameplay on youtube. If it is good I might just buy it
