The new co-op game mode, codenamed LEAGUE, is under development at Ubisoft but doesn’t have a set release date due to the game’s recent postponement, which is affecting the entire Assassin’s Creed pipeline. However, sources tell me that LEAGUE was in development long before the postponement and that this wasn’t an addition because of the delay.

While specific details on what the game mode actually entails are slim, presumably, the co-op mode will see Naoe and Yasuke fight side-by-side, using their different combat abilities to take out enemies.

It worked in unity cos we could all choose our play style, each person could choose whether to be stealthy or not. If shadow allows one person to be Yasuke and the other Naoe then it’s basically forcing one person to play one way and the other another which is pretty lame.

That is actually pretty interesting and cool. Imagine actually planning the best strats with a bud, like Yasuke goes smashing in to distract while Naoe enters from behind to sneak on the target himself. Or Yasuke scares the target so Naoe can more easily attack him. So many possibilities. If this is for the story mode itself then it actually got me hyped, no joke. Maybe the delay was good after all
