Official Armored Core 6 Has Sold 3 Million Copies

In a recent tweet from Armored Core's official twitter/X account they announced the new milestone.



This was most likely possible to higher Fromsoftware recognition and better marketing and localization. In comparison older Armored Core games sold roughly 500k copies.

It’s pretty amazing, especially for a mech game and a sequel in a franchise that hasn’t sold nearly as much before. AC6 was my first entry, and I loved it so much that I got every achievement, which I never do. I wasn’t sure if I’d like it, but I ended up enjoying it way more than I expected.

The sales are fantastic, and I’m thrilled the series is doing well, likely ensuring another game. I do wonder how much this AC cost to develop compared to previous titles, considering how expensive game development has become.
