Official Rainbow Six Siege Is Getting PC/Console Crossplay Update Next Month

Support for cross-play on all platforms will launch in December with Rainbow Six Siege’s Year 9 Season 4 update, Operation Collision Point.

It will let players matchmake with friends no matter what platform they’re playing on, but if there’s a PC player in the squad, then the team will always be in the PC matchmaking pool.

When they do a classic style playlist i’ll get back into it. Haven’t played since year 2 dont feel like having to learn all the new people

I’m guessing this is specifically for console players that join their PC friends’ pre-lobbies? In that case it’s fine.

As long as there isn’t a toggle on by default then I’m fine with it.
