1. Tom Henderson: There will be a PlayStation Showcase "towards the end of the year." (Date of Post: May 30th, 2024)
2. Shinobi says Sony currently has multiple big games from first party teams scheduled for 2025 (Date of Post: June 10th, 2024)
3. Kurakasis: Sony is gearing up to show new stuff from Marvel's Wolverine (Date of Post: October 17th, 2024)
4. The new PlayStation ad appears to be teasing something for December 3rd 2024 (Date of Post: November 12th, 2024)

Several people mentioned that December 3rd is the date of PlayStation's 30th Anniversary, so it’s very possible it could just be a reference to that. However, that doesn’t dispel the possibility of a special showcase happening ON the day of PlayStation’s 30th Anniversary.

I think TGA being one week later than usual is the best hint, this only happened in 2019 where Sony had a 25th anniversary SoP
 
I think it'll just be a state of play. It makes no sense not to save Ghost of Yotei if they were going to do a showcase a few months later.
